|(based on 3 reviews)| For the price I guess you get what you pay for but I was expecting more flavor at least. Maybe it was the Espresso beans rather then the Columbia beans but they didn't have much coffee flavor. The chocolate was sub standard also. I expect any chocolate I buy to not have a waxy taste to it. I would rate them a 5 out of 10. I might have rated it higher if I didn't have much better dark chocolate coffee beans before.
Decaf dark chocolate

Cons:Weak flavor from the Espresso beans even though they was decaf.
The Dark chocolate was a little waxy tasting and not much flavor.
These beans are extraordinary! Love that I could find a decaf offering as the ones with caffeine make me jittery. Also, these have NO maltodextrin on them, which in most others I've found is usually as tapioca starch--most tapioca starch is GMO so beware! Also, they ship them super fast!!
Great offering of my favorite treat!

Pros:Not so sweet, but nice, rich dark chocolate flavor
Quick shipping time
I would recommend this item to a friend.
I tried these side-by-side with Trader Joe's (caffeinated) dark chocolate covered espresso beans, and I regret to report that Trader Joe's are much better. Bigger overall, with a bigger bean, better crunch, and more coffee flavor for a better flavor balance. My search for the best decaffeinated dark chocolate espresso bean continues.

Coffee gets a bad rap. Whether you call it java, joe, or your morning wake-up call, coffee has had its detractors, but there is a wealth of good news, too. According to the Harvard Health Letter, coffee may not raise the risk for high blood pressure as previously thought. While the caffeine in coffee is a mild stimulant, the Joint National Committee on Hypertension has stated that there is no link between coffee consumption and sustained rates of high blood pressure. Additionally, the substances in coffee that do increase cholesterol levels are effectively removed by paper filters. Coffee may also have a protective effect against cancer, specifically, researchers found that coffee drinkers had a 50% lower risk of developing liver cancer compared to nondrinkers. It also appeared to lower the risk of colon, breast and rectal cancers. New studies have even found that coffee offers protection against Parkinson's Disease in men, with heavy coffee drinkers having the lowest risk. A cup o'joe may even cut your risk of getting type 2 diabetes in half. In a study of over 126,000 people over 18 years, Harvard researchers found coffee not only lowers blood sugar levels, but it boosts resting metabolic rate, both of which can deter the development of diabetes.
Whether you like it black or heavy on the cream and sugar, the majority of U.S. adults drink coffee. Coffee may even modify some of the damage done by bad habits such as smoking and excessive drinking. Researchers at Vanderbilt University's Institute for Coffee Studies found that folks who drank coffee in addition to smoking and drinking had far less heart disease and liver disease compared to those who didn't drink coffee. The caffeine in a hot cup of coffee may even help manage an asthma attack in the absence of medication; it can relieve the pain of a headache, banish a bad mood and even help stave off cavities.
