Dried Strawberries Make this Bread A Sweet, Yummy Treat!

Strawberry Pecan Bread 1 stick unsalted butter, at room temperature 2 eggs 1 cup sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla ½ cup milk 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder ½ teaspoon salt ¾ cup dried strawberries, chopped ½ cup chopped pecans Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Then, spray a loaf pan with vegetable oil or cooking spray. Set aside. In a medium sized mixing bowl, whisk together the flour with the baking powder and salt until well combined. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter with the sugar. Then, beat in the eggs one at a time until fully incorporated. Beat in the vanilla. Then, add the dry ingredients to the wet a little bit at a time, alternating with a little bit of milk until all ingredients are well combined. Fold in the chopped pecans and dried strawberries with a spatula then pour the batter into your prepared loaf pan. Top the bread with a mixture of two tablespoons sugar and one tablespoon cinnamon. Bake for an hour, or until the toothpick comes out clean when inserted. Remove the bread from the oven and let cool in the pan for 15 minutes. Then, remove from pan and let finish cooling completely.
