Once you have everything together, you’re ready to begin making your delicious barbequed pecans. Just melt the butter in a large saucepan or skillet. Once the butter has melted, you can go ahead and add the Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, and hot sauce. Make sure this mixture is blended well before you add the pecans.

When you’re ready to add the pecans, put them into the saucepan or skillet with the butter and sauce mixture. Stir the pecans around to ensure that they are coated completely. Then spoon the pecans out onto a lightly greased glass or nonstick baking dish. Make sure you spread them out evenly across the surface. Toast them at 400 degrees for about fifteen minutes—take the time to stir them frequently.

Once you’ve removed the pecans from the oven, turn them out onto a paper towel and sprinkle them with a little bit of salt.

You can always vary this recipe to taste by adding different ingredients to the sauce. You might try adding some garlic or hot peppers to the mix. These are some fun ways to spice up your pecans!
