Sunflower seeds are also an excellent source of B vitamins, and minerals such as copper, magnesium, potassium, selenium, calcium and zinc. High in polyunsaturated fats and monounsaturated fats, and low in saturated fats, clearly sunflower seeds are not only tasty, but heart smart. Another nice surprise with sunflower seeds is their protein content. The protein in sunflower seeds facilitates the body's use of key amino acids - these same amino acids are important for the growth and repair of tissues. Don't forget fiber. Sunflower seeds are chock full of fiber which encourages improved digestion and regularity, and helps manage blood sugar levels, both of which can aid in weight control and prevent obesity.

If the temperature in our area or yours is above 70F, we only allow shipping using expedited methods (2 Day Air and 1 Day Air) and each box is packed with special insulation and gel ice. There's $5 charge added to the shipping fee to cover for the cost of the added insulation and gel ice. During the summer months, to prevent chocolates and candy from sitting on a truck over a weekend we only ship chocolates and candy Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
