very tasty
The flavor is very rich and intense, though a little salty. They taste absolutely wonderful as is, or chopped up in brown basmati & wild rice, seasoned with chipotle and Kashmiri chilies or paprika. Try adding black cumin and sunflower nuts, or black pepper and walnuts. Just don't add any more salt and you're good to go! These have lovely texture -- not dry and hard, but a little soft and moist. They are saltier, though, than the packaged (not bulk) sundried tomatoes we've bought at the supermarket. The flavor's nice otherwise. When adding them to recipes, plan on decreasing salt or other salty items.
Good in sauces. Sweet, plump, fresh taste, speedy delivery. Taste great and the price is just as good. I will be sure to tell all my friends. Wal-Mart did me a favor by discontinuing this item in the hopes I would purchase their more expensive, jar sun dried tomatoes. They sent me to you!!! LOL! I can’t believe how wonderful these tomatoes are! And what a terrific price!
