Add A Dash Of Old Italian Style To Your Cooking With Sun Dried Tomatoes

There’s a certain comfort that comes from a classic Italian dinner. The smell of pasta cooking in the kitchen, and tomatoes being mixed with herbs and spices, creates a warm and inviting atmosphere in any home. It’s easy to add an extra layer of gourmet style to your next Italian dish by adding some sun dried tomatoes to the mix. Sun dried tomatoes are fairly simple – tomatoes that have been left out in the sun where the majority of their water content evaporates. This leaves all the flavor and nutrients of the tomato intact, but without the water. Italians used to sun dry their tomatoes in preparation for the long winter, when vegetables would become scarce. Today, the sun dried tomato has become a gourmet addition to many dishes, and is often used as a snack on its own, paired up with crackers and cheese. You can easily add in some sun dried tomatoes to any sauce. Why not try our recipe for mixing the tomatoes with angel hair pasta? Angel Hair Pasta With Sun Dried Tomatoes Ingredients:
