Almond Butter Granola Bars
1 ½ cups of rolled oats
¼ cup of powdered milk
½ cup dried fruit
of your choice
1/3 cup of honey
¼ cup of delicious almond butter
of your choice
½ teaspoon of almond extract
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. While the oven is getting heated up, mix the oats, dried fruit, and powdered milk together in a large bowl. You are well on your way to delicious almond butter granola bars!
In a small saucepan, combine the almond butter, honey, and almond extract. Turn the stove on low heat and stir until these ingredients are well combined. If you think this mixture is starting to look a little thick, add a few tablespoons of vegetable oil.
Once that mixture is ready, pour the almond butter mixture over the oat mixture and stir together until all of the ingredients are moist. This will surely make for some great almond butter granola bars!
Spread this mixture into a greased 9x9 pan and bake for 20 minutes. Once that has cooled, cut it into bars. Store the almond butter granola bars in an air-tight container.
