The weight and the price of the Custom Gift Basket will depend on the items you select and the size of the basket. We offer a Medium Basket and a Large Basket. The average price of our Medium basket is about $40, and the average weight is about 3.5 pounds. The average price on our Large basket is about $50 and the weight is about 5.5 pounds. You will be able to see the final price of the custom gift basket once all the sections are filled.

I purchase assorted nuts for my Dad for his birthday and Christmas every year. He is somewhat of a nut connoisseur. After he explained being disappointed with the quality of the nuts being shipped from another company, I decided to try Superior Nut Company. I was elated to hear that my Dad was extremely pleased with the quality and size of the nuts in the gift basket. I bought the "Custom Medium Tray" for my dad as a Christmas present. I filled it with honey roasted cashews, chocolate covered cashews, toffee coated cashews, plain cashews, and wasabi peas. The cashews are really good, and my dad likes them a lot. However, he did mention that having a little less coating on the flavored cashews would make them even better. Thanks for providing a good product and for offering the option to customize the tray. I’ll be looking to you again next year for a great present idea!

With the exception of the yogurt covered cherries the tray was excellent. I like yogurt covered fruit but maybe blueberries might be a better choice.

These fruits and nuts are the best! For years my Husband has been stopping in at Superior to buy bags of "supplies" every time he goes to Cambridge. Last year (2009) I ordered ten large custom selected nut and custom selected dried fruit trays online for gifts to be delivered just before Christmas. Everybody RAVED. I then bought three more last minute to use as hostess presents to bring to homes where I had already sent trays ( Recipients of the first trays told me they were so good their familes had eaten most of them within a day! Due to the perishable nature of our chocolate and candy, we take special care to ensure delivery in perfect condition. If the temperature in our area or yours is above 70F, we only allow shipping using expedited methods (UPS 2nd Day Air and UPS Next Day Air) and each box is packed with special insulation and gel ice. There's $5 charge added to the shipping fee to cover for the cost of the added insulation and gel ice. During the summer months, to prevent chocolates and candy from sitting on a truck over a weekend we only ship chocolates and candy Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
