Dark Chocolate Cherry Chip Cookies
1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
3 cups oats
8 ounces of dark chocolate chips
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup dried cherries
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon of salt
Begin by preheating your oven to 350 degrees. Then, in a mixing bowl, beat together the butter, vanilla, and brown sugar until smooth. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing after each addition. Then, in a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, ad salt. Add the dry mixture to the wet mixture gradually, stirring until just combined. Stir in the oats, cherries, and chocolate.
Next, drop the dough by the tablespoonful onto a lined cookie sheet. Bake the cookies for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the bottom edges are lightly browned. Remove from the oven and cool on the pans for a few minutes before removing the cookies to finish cooling on wire cookie racks. Let cool completely and then serve!
