    I ordered 4 of these and they arrived in plastic tubs.
    One was filled to the top with nice whole strawberries slices.
    In one, the majority of strawberries had been reduced to dust.
    And the other two containers where half berries and half berry dust.
    Not sure I would order again.

    A great way to enjoy strawberries anytime! And no-added-sugar is definitely a bonus & the main reason I purchased these. So versatile (use in smoothies, with hot or cold cereals, or pop directly into your mouth for a quick snack!).

    Havent tried to eat them but I am using as inserts for my strawberry frangant soy candles and they look very good and give added beauty to the candles.

    These are expensive everywhere else I looked... most of them more than $8 or $9 an ounce! This was 2 oz for only $5.25!

Our Freeze Dried Strawberry Slices are produced in a process where moisture is removed from the frozen product using a very low temperature and a vacuum. Only about 3% moisture remains in the product at the time of packaging. The end product weight is reduced by over 90%. This process concentrates the fresh product taste, natural color, and texture of fresh product in it's freeze dried state. Freeze Dried Strawberries can replace Fresh Prepared Strawberries at a rate of 10 to 1. These are some of the only strawberries available without added sweeteners.
