We can't believe we're sharing this family recipe with you. But we know that you're going to love making this with your marcona almonds. It's a simple enough process, and the results are truly amazing!
Spiced Marcona Almonds
You'll need a few spices. You can alter these to taste, but this is how we like to do it.
-¼ cup light brown sugar
-2 tsp ground cumin
-1 tsp paprika
-1 tsp dried thyme
-1 tsp kosher salt
-¼ tsp cayenne pepper
And you'll need a few other things.
-1 large egg white
-1 tablespoon of water
-A l 1b bag of Raw Marcona Almonds from Superior Nut Store
You're ready to start making this simple treat with your marcona almonds! Just preheat the oven to 275 degrees. Coat a large baking sheet with cooking spray. Whisk the spices together in a large bowl. Whisk the water and egg white together in a smaller bowl until they get foamy. Add the marcona almonds to the water and egg mixture. But do it slowly. You want to make sure they get coated. Once they are coated, you can transfer the marcona almonds into the bowl of spices. Stir them up until they get covered. Spread the spiced marcona almonds evenly on the baking sheet.
Put them in the oven for 30 minutes. Then reduce the oven temperature to 200 degrees, and bake for another 30 minutes. Let the marcona almonds cool before you serve them.
